2004 – Oscars Café, Nelson. ‘Sensory Data’. March 5 – April 4.
Solo exhibition, 23 works, 30x30cm canvases. Abstract Expressionism. Oils, acrylics, water-based enamel housepaint, sand, gravel, impasto medium, blackboard paint and chalk.

 

2003 – Suter Art Gallery, Nelson. Bachelor of Visual Arts – Year 3.
NMIT 2003 End of Year Student Show for Undergraduands of Bachelor of Visual Arts and Diploma in Art & Design. Painting studio tutor Catharine Hodson. Exhibit – ‘Naughty Girl’ Installation of modified existing Lazyboy chair, constructed Lazygirl stool, handmade quilt, digital imagery.

 

2003 – NMIT Fishbowl Gallery, Nelson. Bachelor of Visual Arts – Year 2.
Term 4 class 2002 exhibition, Personal Painting Contract, tutor Errol Shaw. Exhibit – ‘Self Portrait – Tarot Series’, painting/installation. - Acrylic and oils on hardboard - 175x120cm - 10 panels - oil stain, impasto photographic transfer – canvas on hardboard – 19x12cm each, laid on fold out table with cloth.

 

2002 – 30 North Road, Nelson. Bachelor of Visual Arts – Year 2.
Site Specific Installation Performance Elective, tutor Mike Baker. Exhibit – ‘Out of the Frying Pan’ – site specific performance installation. - Held at the artists home, 2x 12 minute digital videos run simultaneously. Projected onto original wedding dress on lounge wall.

 

 

2002 – NMIT Fishbowl Gallery, Nelson. Bachelor of Visual Arts – Year 2.
Term 3 class exhibition, Painting Brief – Atmospheric painting and the Readymade, tutor Errol Shaw. Exhibit – (untitled), Readymade/assemblage Installation - Framed black and white photo of Marcel du Champs ‘Fountain’ mounted on wall, camera tripod containing two toilet rolls as viewing binoculars.

 

2002 – NMIT Fishbowl Gallery, Nelson. Bachelor of Visual Arts – Year 2
Term 2 class exhibition, Drawing & Design Brief – 3 day trip to Golden Bay, tutor Mike Baker.
Exhibit in 3 parts, installation – ‘Ritual Habits of Apparent Safety'.
Digital video, 20 minutes – footage of artist in wedding dress in sea during a storm, plus excerpts from original wedding video. Glass fish tank 1500x500x500cm, containing wedding dress, label and wedding ring. Three 12 metre lengths of brown paper, chalk, pastel, graphite, acrylic paint, enamacryl paint.

Visual Arts & Media Student Group Exhibition, tutor June Studer.
Exhibit – (untitled) A1 size life drawing - reclining nude on manila in analogous chalk pastel colours.
